What some graduates of Equip have said;
“it is a brilliant course. It was interesting to hear different ideas of how other people run things”
“– very different to other leadership stuff I’ve done before at churches.  It was much more holistic and exciting”.

“I always enjoyed the talks and interaction. We have such a diverse range of folk/personalities and different styles leading”
“It’s been very helpful for exploring together what we think is important and especially hearing what the church leadership think!”

“It was encouraging to see the vision moving forward with more people, including the next generation, on board”
“I’m excited about building a community!”

Why Build Community? The Well vision statement asserts that we are building a network of communities on a mission. Communities stimulate activity based around relationships. They are ‘communities in communities’ and exist to grow, spiritually, numerically, and in influence. Each community enjoy meals together (quite a feast for some of the larger ones). Other activities usually only involve a smaller section of the community. Communities welcome those who haven’t met Jesus yet and are an accessible way of discovering Christianity in practice.  Communities are focussed on networks or neighbourhoods and are flexible, relational and outward looking. The Well Communities are designed to use the valuable time that we each have in our busy lives to become more effective as witnesses to Christ with less stress. If this vision inspires you are you willing to give six Saturdays (one a month) to being equipped and inspired to take part in this holistic approach to Christianity, then we promise Equip will not make your life ‘busier’ – it will simply renew your energy and make your walk and mission with Christ more effective.

Grow and learn as part of a community on the move…

..They were utterly astonished, saying; “He has done all things well; he makes even the deaf to hear and the mute to speak” Mark 7:37
