SOUL IN THE CITY
Soul In The City is a London wide initiative bringing thousands of young delegates to work on community initiatives in the capital. In Camberwell in 2004 we had 50 -60 delegates doing kids clubs, cleaning cars, clearing litter, painting buildings, doing shopping and running errands for elderly and sick people locally, running arts projects and workshops, and generally blessing people wherever they went…
In the evenings there were Celebrations, Bar-B-Q’s, Concerts at the Peckham Arch and much more…
We have partnered with six local churches to build links with the local community in many ways. More news to follow.
