NewcomersIf you are planning visiting The Well for the first time, you need to locate Wells Way. Its bus 343, or park in one of the surrounding streets. Our family service gathering starts at 10.30am for coffee and the actual service starts at 11.00am. You will get a warm welcome on the door and be handed a weekly bulletin which tells you what is happening that day and the coming week. Children usually stay with us for family worship and leave during the talk for a special focused program for thier own age groups called 'Splash' and 'Bubbles'. Youth likewise have their own program unless the speaker is tackling something they especially want to hear about. They also have their own worship celebration some Sunday evenings. Students are an important part of The Well, and many go for lunch after the service. You may be given a welcome card, which if you fill it in and return it to the welcome desk simply means that someone can write to you with more details as requested, plus an invitation to a Welcome Meal, usually at the HOUSE café or in a leaders home. The service usually last an hour and a half and people always hang about afterwards and chat, and visitors are always made welcome and introduced to relevant groups. One or more of the communities often have a meal after the service, to which you are welcome, or students and singles head for the local cafe's. We look forward to your visit and pray that you will be blessed. Becoming a member at The Well follows no single route. We are a relational family network, so look out for friendly people, and if you like them, then you might like to join us in our journey of faith together as a community. The main part of our fellowship takes place within the communities that meet weekly - probably one is very near to where you live.
