If you serve the Well in a capacity that puts you in regular contact with children (you volunteer with Children or Youth, are part of the Ops or Hub team, or lead a missional community or project), thank you for what you give in mentorship, teaching, prayer and ministry. We want you to be equipped to do this in the safest and best possible way. To this end, the Well’s Child Protection Policy states that every volunteer that works with children (not just the Children’s Ministers) must attend annual safeguarding training.
To sweeten the deal, we’d like to offer you breakfast (hot coffee and tasty pastries) along with training on Sunday 25th February, Wells Way at 9am. The training will be mostly practical, with time for questions, led by our very own Steph Marriot. We’ll aim to finish at 10am so that anyone serving that morning can have time to prep and pray before the service. You are invited and expected to attend – please click here to tell us whether or not you can make it.
If for whatever reason you absolutely can’t make it, we will be running a follow-up session later in the year. Please fire back any questions to firstname.lastname@example.org.
